In the summer of 2024, Prof. Andreas Fath will swim 1,080 kilometers across the Elbe - from Riesengebirge to the North Sea - a project to protect nature.

With a campaign and an interactive educational program, we are raising people's awareness of the importance of intact waters, the pollution caused by us humans and the dangers of microplastics.

We regularly take water samples along the Elbe, which are analyzed for pollutants and microplastics. A documentary film will be made during the trip.
