In spring 2022, Ronny Goldberg from the Saxon Switzerland National Park approached us with the idea of swimming through the Elbe, laying the foundations for the project idea.
On August 22, we pass Bad Schandau and pick up Andreas Fath at the Elbe ferry. Afterwards, there will be a press conference with the mayor of Bad Schandau, Mr. Thomas Kunack, and a discussion round with Prof. Fath and representatives of the Saxon Switzerland National Park and the Lower Saxon Wadden Sea.
